Dentist: Dr. Konrad Binder
Dr. Konrad Binder graduated with honours with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, he received a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa with a specialty in exercise physiology. Dr. Binder is trained in all aspects of dentistry including esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, endodontics and orthodontics.
Dr. Binder has worked as an associate dentist at clinics in and around Ottawa and has provided locul dental services in Northwestern Ontario for First Nations communities. He enjoys teaching and volunteered as a hygiene instructor and lecturer at the Canadian National Institute of Health. In his spare time, Dr. Binder likes playing golf, hockey and fishing. He also volunteered as a trainer and practice coach for the Major Peewee AAA Ottawa Junior 67’s.
Dr. Binder’s treatment philosophy is to provide you with the best quality patient-centred dental care. His professionalism and calming, easy-going personality will put you at ease and give you confidence in the dental care provided. Dr. Binder prioritizes building a trusting and respectful relationship with his patients through open and honest communication.
Originally from a small town outside of Ottawa, Dr. Binder knew he wanted to practise dentistry in a similar community. Embrun was a perfect fit. Dr. Binder looks forward to meeting you and welcoming you and your family to Embrun Smiles Family Dentistry.

Isabelle
Isabelle has an advanced diploma in dental hygiene from La Cité Collégiale. She is passionate about dentistry and is always striving to provide the best quality care for her patients.
She was born and raised in a small town 15 minutes from Embrun where she worked in a retirement home for many years. Her experience working with the elderly has led her to discover her passion for helping and caring for people.
Isabelle is thrilled to join the Embrun Smiles Family Dentistry team and provide dental hygiene care to her community.
Outside of the Embrun dentist office, Isabelle enjoys spending time with her friends and family, also being outside with her dog.
